Local and regional fiber artists and alpaca breeders will demonstrate spinning, machine knitting, carding, skirting a fleece, and needle felting.

Look for the Fiber Demonstration Area to the right on the Mezzanine level as you enter the coliseum throught the Main (East) Entrance. Be sure to stop by and visit with the fiber artists. Alpaca fiber is lovely to work with!

Members of the Madison Fair City Spinners will provide carding and spinning demonstrations.

2008 GMAF Fiber Creations: Various Madison Fair City Spinners have been given raw alpaca fiber to process, spin, and create whatever they like. Their alpaca creations will be on display in the Fiber Demonstration Area.

Jane Grogan will be demonstrate frame loom weaving. We will also feature inkle loom weaving and rigid heddle weaving.
