Altair is a medium fawn full Peruvian male out of Peruvian Aladdin. He is a multi-blue ribbon winning male. Many of his offspring have also graced the show ring further proving his worth. Two of his incredible sons are also here a the show, Shariff (an amazing black male and Samaurai, a stunning brown male)  Altair has a commanding presence at all times, his gorgeous fleece is awe-inspiring, and he has a beautiful head and great temperament.

Judge Wade Gease selected this male for breeding at LondonDairy because of his impressive density & highly organized, tight fleece architecture.  At 9 years of age he still has a positive follicle and S/P ratio. More important is the fact that only about 50% of the secondary fibers show any air spaces (called medulation).  Most alpacas at this age show 100% medulated fiber with a high micron.  Altair is far from the norm with his recent measured AFD of 24.1 microns at 9 YEARS!
