Peruvian Midnight Man

ARI #: 1097160

We have looked for several years for that ONE black male that was conformationaly outstanding (strong and heavy boned) yet met our uncompromising demands for exceptional fleece – together with co-owners Kinney Valley Alpacas, we believe we have found him!

With his cria fleece shorn at 8 months, Midnight Man was deservingly awarded the 2005 AOBA Reserve Black Fleece Color Championship. Remarkable not only for the males he competed against in the class, but also for such a young male.

His fleece is what every breeder of black alpacas seeks - highly crimped, soft and bundled - but it’s really no surprise – his entire pedigree is all about fleece and is found on BOTH sides of his pedigree in Peruvian Black Forest (THE True Black son of Royal Fawn) and the extremely dense silver grey CPeruvian Silvio.

As his ribbons indicate, Midnight Man is a high quality stud - his progeny prove it. To date he has thrown 6 of 8 Black offspring – 4 of those out of MB Dams.
